ThSo, I'm making these beautiful cuffs based off something I saw in cloth, paper, scissors. (I'll add pics when I get past the newbie stage on craftster). The thing is I don't have enough guts to wear them myself, nor can I think of anyone of my acquaintance who would wear anything this different. Now, what? I don't want to deconstruct something I've made that's this pretty, and I would like them to be used and appreciated by someone. Maybe once I add pics someone here might like them...? Any ideas what to do?

If you generally dress quite muted, a statement piece of jewellery is actually a good way to get into dressing "out of your comfort zone." Try wearing one of your creations around family and close friends and see how you feel about it. Maybe Grandma will rave at how creative you are and wax eloquent about her own crafting adventures Tongue Maybe your bestie is more into artsy jewellery than you thought.  Who knows? This could be your entry into the world of adventurous dressing Cheesy

I agree - wear it and show off your creativity and talent!

I agree that you should try it out, just because you don't usually wear something doesn't mean you can't. And DO add pics, we want to see! You've hit 11 posts now, IIRC that's enough. Cheesy

Otherwise, I'm sure you could swap with someone on the boards or maybe start an etsy store? Smiley
