How does a sign up date of Jan 1-15 sound?Huh And mail out by Feb 15th. Huh?

If it's so late the scarf I receive would go directly into storage until next season (I live in the South)   Sad

Would love to swap for art of my fur babies

What if the sign-up date was a few days earlier or sign-up shorter (or both), the crafting period a little shorter, and the send-out date a little earlier. I don't need a full month to make a scarf. Does anyone else? I also live in a short winter state, but scarves could be made of a summer-weight thread rather than a wool or bulky yarn, so they could still be used beyond the cold weather. Personally, I'm fine with storing  a scarf until next fall if it's too warm to wear by the time the swap ends. I just love getting other people's handwork. I admire the skill that's inherent in handcrafted items.

I agree with the fact that scarves could be made to the persons liking...heavy or light. I think that the dates listed would work. Smiley

Let me give the dates some thought. There are quite a few swappers that would like to take part in this swap. But want to wait until after the Holiday. I think Jan 1-15th is still a good sign up period. You can always send early if you choose to. Some swappers crochet, some knit, and some sew. So the ones who crochet and knit need a little more time.

I've been getting more interested in trying out or getting the Ruffle, Queen Anne and "Luna Lovegood" (courtesy of Pinkleo) fashion scarves I've been seeing this season. I'm still good for "winter" scarves until about April but I'd really like some "pretty scarves" too ^^

Definitely interested!  And we're still in the depths of winter in mid-February, so the dates are fine with me.  Smiley

In January, I'd def be up for this swap.  I have 2 new scarf patterns I want to try out.  One is a def wintertime, one is an all weather kind.  I'm in the south too (FL), but I love scarves, so getting a winter or summer or either or both  Wink is ok with me.

Will personal swap for ATCs (fabric or paper), Teesha Moore poptarts/pillows and most any kind of embroidery- PM me
