I made this quilt for a friend of mine, who loves sailing and is expecting her first baby any day now.



It was fun to make but a bit challenging because it's all made out of scraps I had on hand! That's exactly how much sky and tree fabric I had around, and I didn't even have enough ocean - there's none under the boat, and the rest was pieced together in strips! You can sort of see that in the picture, particularly the bottom left corner, but I think it's still okay.

That's super! What a great gift. I like the piecing you did for the water. The movement is nice.
