Tips on making angular shoulders in jackets?

My latest collection is going to be featuring some jackets with angular/pointed shoulders, but I can't find information on how to do them, and photos aren't detailed enough for me to make an educated guess.  Any pointers? (pun intended?)

I think what you want is a cowl sleeve out of a stiff or interfaced fabric. Someone asked a similar question earlier this year
