Here's some stuff for my next show! It's called the Teacher Artmaker Project and is for secondary teachers who are also artists making art about their experience. We look at the tension of being both a teacher and an artmaker as well as the pressure put on art teachers to continue making art when other teachers may not be expected to practice their discipline. Oh, and how being a teacher working with teenage artists impacts our work. It's quite fun!

These are about 1m high and made from original single-use stencils. The original images were made in Illustrator. I glued newspaper to MDF board and then sprayed over the top. It gave them a slightly imperfect paste up look.

I'm nervous about putting them on show, though. I've really put a lot of honesty into the descriptions for the catalogue and I feel so vulnerable having myself out there!

I would be thrilled to have all four of these hanging in my home. I especially like how much humor is in your work.

I have a feeling that first image would be very popular if available as a print Cheesy

Naw thanks Smiley

I've not actually looked into prints. I have trouble photographing the work because it's so big and also glossy (any ideas!!?? I don't have a SLR camera...). I do have the Illustrator files, but they're nowhere near as interesting as the actual finished work. I have thought about postcards just to put out there.

I was just going to say postcards! They are a fabulous way to get artwork out there, info on the back about where to find more etc. These images are wonderful, I love them all but the first one is my fave. The second I'd certainly love to hang in a washroom, what a neat little mind-tweak that would be for guests Wink.
With a dozen images a calendar is possible too. I'm just sayin'... I'm always on the look out for next year's calendar made of monthly awesome.

Awesome.  Seconding (thirding or fourthing?) the call for prints or posters.

If you've got the digital files, I reckon T-shirts through a site like Red Bubble or Cafepress would be a hit, too.
