My partner Rubylynns in the Hoopla vs Yarnies Swap really has a thing for Ruby Gloom, so what better thing to make for her??  I couldn't find a pattern anywhere so I came up with this one.  I am really proud of how she came out!!

I used felt for her eyes and embroidered all the little details on.

I really love how she came out!!  Thanks for looking!!

I too love Ruby Gloom, the whole show actually (I think I like Misery best).  I get lost in watching the back ground and house dressings.  But the whole show rocks.  One of the most interesting kids shows ever in my humble opinion.  And you so captured Ruby in all her cute glory M24B.  Nice job Grin

Here's a Youtube vid of the opening song.  It's rather addictive

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AndojwoYBfA

It's a Canadian cartoon show about cute creepy kids who live in a old Victorian house together.  It's all very sweet and adorable.  I think it is aimed at little little kids, but I like the stories and I'll be 50 next year *snort*.  I imagine Lana would love it...partly because it is very well drawn.

Thanks everyone!! I did know who Ruby Gloom was, because my oldest (who is now 15) used to watch it when he was little, but I didn't think it was on anymore.  And sureal, I didn't know it was a Canadian show!!  Cool!!
