Pumpkin ninni

Hi Craftsters!

I joined the Autumn/Halloween ninni swap with my favourite organizers Leslieshappyheart and Susanab this month and want to share with you the ninni I made for my partner teag.

She likes pumpkins and had this pumpkin figurines on her Wist with an incredibly ridiculous smile/grin. I went with those, altered the ninni pattern to make it more round like a pumpkin and added that smile/grin.

Et voilà I present to you..... PUMPKIN!


I stuffed him (I think Pumpkin is a male) in a paper bag and added a little sign "boo". Just for the Halloween-trick-or-treat-feeling. (Not that we celebrate Halloween, but this is like I imagine it to be)


Since I had so much fun making this ninni, I added a small orange ninni as a sort of little brother or stuffie. The card with the pumpkins was also made by me.

The mouth on your ninni is fabulous (not too spooky, but spooky enough!)...

I just had so much fun making this Ninni. I like the excitement of swapping and the feeling of getting inspiration.
When I showed Pumpkin at work (I work at a school), my co-workers all wanted one, hahaha!
But I like my ninni too! An awesome Autumn ninni.

Beautiful and fun ninis keep popping up one after the other. And I thought I didn't like ninis. I was wrong.

Wendiek--I bet you are one of the most popular people at work!  So creative and such wonderful skills...and you love swapping!

Hahaha, well they always tell me to sell my work OR they try to convince me to hand over the swapping item  It never works though! I like to sew and swap, and wouldn't want to be to sell. Just wouldn't work for me.

My co-workers come whenever they need some sort of inspiration or ideas for crafting for the kids. It usually doesn't take long to give them several ideas  It would be great if that would make me one of the popular teachers there!

And as for swapping, I so love the feeling of inspiration and to be able to combine ideas I have with Wist/Pinterest and my partner favourites... it really is very addicting!
