This is gorgeous! I love sewing with felt for hooplas so I will definitely be trying out some of the techniques that you linked to.

The beads just finish it off beautifully. <3

Your swap partner  is very lucky.  I love this hoopla.  The black background does make the flowers pop.  Maybe you can pick up the cream felt later for another project.
