Looking for pattern help for AE hat?

So I am looking for anyone who knows what pattern that ^^ hat is. I want to make it for a gift but want to make it and not buy it... Any help is very appreciated! :0

It's hard to see the stitches, not enough contrast with the white yarn, but it could be a kind of knit popcorn stitche or trinity st, also known as blackberry/berry/bramble stitch.

Soozeq knows her knitting! I looked up some hat patterns with this stitch and found three. You'll have to use them more like recipes, because none of them are designed for a bulky knit.

Thanks! I feel like it looks like a basketweave stitch with chunky yarn? If I zoom in on it I can see the purls and knits but it has a lot of open space too? Very weird to me. But I don't know my knitting all that well yet!

Yeah, the trinity/bramble stitch is like that - kpk into one stitch, p3tog, then purl on the WS row. Or whichever variation you use.
