What is a keener? And why are you calling me names? That's not nice.

A keener is someone who is keen to get something done.  It's not a mean names, unless you want it to be.  I did not intend it to be mean (kinda. )

Yay! I'm first. Because Jexxican was really on top of things!

I made sure to get it today by going and picking it up from the office before class. Which meant carrying it around to my class and back. It was torment. But I needed to make sure that I could get it today. So, I opened it up on the bus on my way home.

This is what I saw!

I had to control myself from making high pitched noises of joy. (There were other people riding back, I was trying to be considerate).

Then I walked back to my apartment and properly opened my package. Jexxican, you seriously made the cutest bowl/basket/pot...I don't know what to call it. But I love it.

Edit: I found a super cute post card in the bottom of my box! This bowl is perfect for my knitting! I always have a problem with my yarn balls rolling around! <3

I'm just so excited! This fiber is some of the loveliest I've ever had. I really enjoyed getting to know Jexxican over the course of this swap. She helped make my first ever swap amazing.

Oh yes, Breabadair, I'm glad you enjoyed your first swap as well because I know I sure did! I RECEIVED TODAY! WOOOOOOOO! Sorry, I'm really not a woo-girl but looky what I got:

Merino/silk from my favorite Etsy shop/Phat Fiber contributor, a knit washcloth which I always need more of, and a DIZ! I got a DIZ! And not, just any diz, oh no, the diz that I had pinned. I don't have it pinned anymore because I GOT IT! I like to erase pins that I receive. It makes sense to me. I've been wanting to try using a diz to remove fiber from my carder and now I have a super sweet diz so I may have to get my carder back out soon... After Halloween... and a couple other things... Ah! So much to do first! But it's still pretty so I think I can wait.
