I just made this skirt last night from freshly laundered quilting cotton and wore it today. Anytime I walked at more than a mosey, it rode up between my legs to an embarassing degree. (A co-worker commented it looked like my thighs were eating my skirt.) This is my first time working with quilting cotton so I'm not sure if that is something that just happens or if it's because I wore it with leggings. I wear dresses & skirts with leggings all the time and haven't had this problem before.  Will it go away with time and repeated washings? Has this happened to anyone else? Any solutions?

I think that your problem is that the fabric of your legging and the one of your skirt are sticking to each other which makes your skirt ride up. You could add a slippery lining to the skirt or wear a slip under it.
