OK--I counted and I think everyone has claimed a spot, so I am going to start commenting!

Mare--I love the blocks you made for me!!  I see so many fabrics from quilts you have made and posted!  They are going to look great and help me finish my scrappy quilt!

carolmb--I am also worried about the pinwheel block!  But, I am doing trial runs on any block that I am unfamiliar with, so it will be a learning experience indeed!  I love the challenge!

homerof2--Your blocks were so much fun!  I am done with them and they turned out a perfect 12.5!  I will post pics tonight.

Those look great carolemb! If anyone struggles with it too much, just sub in a 10 inch block that is easier for you, I don't want to stress anyone out!

It's going to be so much fun seeing my blocks as they are made and then waiting for them to arrive.  Alwaysinmyroom, great job!

Love how your pinwheels are coming along, carolmb!

I woke up early this morning to work on donniesgirl's blocks.  Got out my trusty compass to make a circle template..these blocks will go quickly!  Boy, I did not realize how much red I had in my stash...trying to find more greens that look more holiday-ish...

Can't wait to see everyone's progress!  I have to keep checking because the gallery because I forgot that when you edit a post, it does not appear in your recently replied box! Sad

I added the 3 I finished Saturday! I have some more partial ones that I'll post when they are actually done.

wow--I love the modern mosaic pattern!  I have had that on my list forever, so it will be interesting to try it out on sloth! Cheesy

Also, I see ED has the same blocks as me, but did she ask for kiddie prints?  SO CUTE!!!

I just noticed that my own quilt block is a bit wonky...oopsy, I think I used the wrong size and had to fix it to have the center centered!  oh well,  it is a scrappy quilt! Cheesy

It's a fun block but it is time consuming. Don't be afraid to cut the blocks much larger than what you think you need, because they will be trimmed a few times + seam allowances.

I was a bit worried about colors as well...I just could not picture it in my head...I know I have some fabrics now! Cheesy

But, not sure if I can find my black...I am woefully low on solids...it might be Kona time! Cheesy
