I lost a block last night and spent 20 minutes looking for it and still couldn't find it. Sad It was the one for Pearliepie.

But, in happier news (kind of?) I discovered that my 1/4 inch foot has been stitching a 5/16 inch seam, hence all my frustrations. I just randomly bought a magnetic stitch guide the other day because it was on sale, so I set that up and everything is so much better! I made one more Paint Box set for Sloth and have another one cut out (no pic yet).

what?!!  That is so frustrating!

I sewed the blocks I received so far with the blocks I made and...they all fit together! Cheesy  Not perfect, but no one would ever know...it is going to be such a wonderful (and HUGE) scrappy quilt!  I was going to put sashing inbetween but then it would be too large for me to quilt on my own...I have 4 blocks across and will have 6 going down...perfect!

Ohhhh ireally like this block.

Sadly.  It finished at 10 by 10.5.  I know why. And i questioned the instruction and ignored it. So ... Extra for maremare

Pearliepie--I love the blocks you did for donniesgirl!  They do look holiday even though it is not traditional holiday fabrics!  Wonderful!

I also like what you did with sloth's blocks!  Gorgeous combinations of colors and fabrics!

I adore everyone's houses....I am working/struggling with mine!

I just finished my last 3 paintbox blocks for slothy (no pics yet though). Not sure if I want to work on some of her other blocks next, Homerof2's blocks, or the wonky houses and trees, that is all I have left for this swap!

Aw, thanks!

The first time I tried a wonky house I was so nervous about getting it "right" that it came out perfectly straight! It took me awhile to get good at them- you'll get there too Wink

I love this swap so much. Now I want to make a bunch of quilts- the card trick blocks are really cool, the mosaic ones blow me away- I am loving the colors everyone is using, and the pinwheels are going to make a great looking finished product. I want ALL the blocks!
