I love how I'm at least as excited, if not more, for my partner to receive in craftster swaps.

I hope it does come, but it hasn't been tracked since it left TN, so who knows where it is now. I swear, sending close to the holidays is fraught with peril.

The postal system is a stress-inducing little bundle of a black hole around the holidays. My package to microjivvy was slated to arrived yesterday, but tracking says (hopefully) it's out for delivery today.
The irony is I sent three things to New Zealand three days earlier and they got there yesterday. Hmmmpf.

I've had DC#'s go w/o tracking info updates for a few days.  I've had them say it was going to be delivered on a certain day, and not be delivered till the next day.  And, I've been in the situation I'm in now, w/a partner in another swap.  DC# said the package was delivered, when it had not been delivered.  Only, to show up a day or so later.  I HATE shipping through the PO.  I always fret and worry and wring my hands once my package slips into the wreckless hands of the PO.  I too, am always SUPER EXCITED for my partner to receive a package from me.  Then, I fret, and worry, and wring my hands hoping they will like it.     Shipping through the PO=STRESS!

Pfffffiiiiiiiiiuuuu! So much stress with the packages. It's obvious the post has lots of work right now and can't deliver on time. Mine and my partner's are late too. I hope everything ends well, especially  no stolen or lost packages.

I'm gonna go ahead and just say that I support the post office.  They're always way nicer than the people in UPS or FEDEX stores (even though we all get a little stressed sometimes).  USPS is the fastest method from here (O`ahu) to anywhere else, believe it or not, and it's the least expensive.  Also, I was way turned off by UPS last year when they delivered our entire neighborhood's packages to the wrong places one afternoon (they all ended up being one or two doors off) and told me that I should just go complain to Amazon and they'll send me a replacement, instead of fixing their own problem they caused... oy!

HOkay, here's some good news-- my package from Rubylynns has arrived, and I will be posting in the gallery shortly!!

The direct tracking on my package to Cackle hasn't updated since Dec 5 (the day I shipped -- yes, in spite of my good intentions, I "shipped late with communication!" lol).

According to tracking, the package is still in the town it was shipped from.  I choose to believe that's not the case.

The people at the counter in my local post office are wonderful. Unfortunately, not a one of them will agree to hand deliver my packages.
