I am just new to sewing, figured it was time to fill that void in my craft knowledge, so I'm looking for simple projects.  I tried these dishes.  I like them, the shape of the second one is a bit better with higher sides.  Would be fun on a table with warm scones for tea Smiley

I agree. Lovely with hot rolls for breakfast too.  I like the higher sides better.

Awesome sewing job on both of them! The shallow sided one would be great on your desk for sticky notes, pens and pencils or maybe on your crafting worktable to hold the needs for a specific project like scissors and glue or markers, etc. It's shallow enough to find things you put into it and would help keep your space uncluttered (maybe I'm the only one who needs that?!). I need to make me one and learn to put things directly back into it so I don't lose the scissors I just sat down and spend 20 minutes of precious projecting time to find them!! LOL  Grin

Great fabric choices and they don't look like a newbie project.   Smiley
