I got an awesome package from mamakitty78 yesterday!

An awesome piece of DOTD art! She even used found metal bits and bobs for texture which I love!



She also included black embroidery floss (I can never have enough!) and a neat painted wallet!

She sent me a neat, hand painted candle holder with a different of my favorite animals on each side, plus a handmade, all-natural dry skin balm.

We got home from Thanksgiving at the in-laws (5 hours away from here) to find that I received from Beki710!

She sent me some great stuff, all the way across the Atlantic Ocean!

First, the "overall" shot.

I got a nice note explaining what she chose to create and something about why. 



I think this one is my favorite.  A kitty picture using SheepBlue's technique of gluing whimsys to a canvas.  It lost a couple of parts on its journey, but a little quality time with my hot glue gun and I think its all better.  (I may not have put everything back in the original places, but I think I did pretty good).  I love the little teapot down in the left bottom corner, the little drink with the straw above the huge button on the left.  There are so many cool little things there, I keep seeing new things each time I look again.

 

I got a Welsh dragon hoopla!  Done in very small stitches.  She said it is the very traditional image from the Welsh flag.



Some cool "DNA Earrings".  (Add the usual issue with getting a good pic of something small and shiny -- they are blue not purple)



A couple of patterns.  I told her that I liked cats and dragons, so she sent me one of each! 



And some neat candy.  I haven't tried any of it yet (but we will).  I find the "teeth and toothbrushes" candy especially funny!  My daughter wants to open some of the chocolates (but I wouldn't let her until we got home from dinner).

I'm so glad you liked everything   I wasn't real impressed with the black T bleaching effect I tried to do with the one, but I really liked the Aboriginal art Frog I did.  My cousin is from Australia, and had just sent us up some stickers with Aboriginal art on them, and I used that as my inspiration.
I wanted to keep the Koi. LOL  Now I want to make some more button art.  
And sorry the yarn wasn't more organized.  I just moved, so I went through my boxes and boxes and boxes of yarn and put whatever I thought you might be able to use into your box.
This was a lot of fun.   I love crafting.
