As I mentioned above, I received from ehinders!


A pretty pair of fingerless mitts and 2 wonderful pillow cases! I've had both styles pinned for a long time and am super happy to get them at last.


Plus she sent 2 gorgeous bracelets! The green one even doubles as a necklace! I adore these. They're lovely and fit me just the way I like. Yay!

Thanks for all the compliements. The fingerless gloves were easy. I just crocheted a granny square until it was big enough and then crocheted up the side, leaving a hole for the thumb. Here's a closer look:


The pillow covers were super fun. I haven't done much applique before, so Calabaza, you'll have to ignore the crooked lines of my sewing!
 

They turned out so good, I'll have to make myself one of each of those!

It wasn't too bad. Sewing zig zag stiches around the ouside edges was the hardest part!

I received from  Lo{ve} today!



For my stash: jewelry bits, safety eyes in a variety of sizes, some vintage style halloween note cards, scrapbook paper, and a ginormous heap of embroidery thread (I'm gonna need a bigger boat!).



I asked for a zippered pouch with, if possible, a gusseted bottom and this definitely fits the bill -- I expect it will be with me whenever I travel as I'm always needing a little bag for something or other!



I also asked for some hand-carved stamps -- my two faves are the heart in a speech bubble and the too cute little birdie.
