That bird embroidery is so gorgeous!  I'd love to be able to do more than a backstitch someday and make pretty pieces like that Smiley

The USPS track & confirm says that my claim is waiting at the post office for onyxnox.  Can't wait to see what she thinks Smiley

I have my ID ready and the claim receipt in my purse - just waiting for the afternoon, because they will not release it until the afternoon.  I was wondering what package was waiting for me Cheesy

What I hate about it is that the claim slip is timed less than a couple of minutes after I got home - in fact, the postal van I saw taking off as I turned the corner on my street was probably the postman - grrrr!

I hate when that happens!  But, at least you'll get it soon!  Enjoy Smiley

Smiley some times i fear i over do my swaps just a bit. and it was fun making the hearts again (has done a lot of science illustrations in the past)

and most of all it was fun swapping for you. enjoy

So many stunning items in this gallery!
Just keeping my fingers (and toes) crossed that the package I've sent gets 'across the pond' okay!

bananaleg and mandykaye i'm so thrilled you like your packages. I see some amazing work here and I have been out of swapping for so long that i was truly worried.

Thank you so much, Tina! I'm in love. And my nieces are going to be so happy next time they come over. Cheesy

@bananaleg- i used canvas because my sewing machine wasn't working for me... I'm not telling what was wrong, but i fixed it... *cricket cricket* no... not telling what a dunce movement i made... somewhat like my 4am attempt to load a bobbin and forgetting i also needed the top needle threaded.... yeah.... Anyway I'm glad you like it and even a bit proud that you may like it more than the hoopla Wink I also had a blast painting the letters for your nieces and you Smiley I hope to see pics of what is created with the clay.

Oh and thanks for the comment on my digital art. It's my baby. I really need to get back to it again.

I received a lovely package from tvelez yesterday! I work evenings/nights so I had to wait till today to post!

She sent some lovely digital photos, some pages for my Book of Shadows with info on runes and astrology, some poly clay molds, and a beautiful Tree of Life painting with elemental colors in the background (which I have upside-down in the picture Sad)!

Thanks so much for picking me tvelez, you did a wonderful job!

@mandykaye: I owe you better copied of those pictures i was so upset they got cropped. My digital art is my favorite and i'm so happy you like them. I had a bunch of gemstone and herb BoS stuff before my external HD crashed and took 300GB of files with it... so i am very happy you liked what I sent Cheesy. I'll post another pic of the Tree of Life. It's my favorite work thus far Cheesy

I sew, paint unfinished wood, sketch, make jewelry, crochet a bit, loom knit, and sew. Pretty much if I can get my hands on it to learn, then I will know it. Maybe not perfectly, but enough for a hobby.

As promised. I also wanted to show a pic that showed the metallic in the paints Smiley

and just for fun, a WIP.

I received today from kitkat_pro.

She sent me a wonderful two sided apron that fits very nicely but I let my table model it instead of myself.  The one corner is folded so you can see both fabrics

She also made me a Snoopy embroidery straight from my Pinterest and a Joy plaque which was an idea I had on Pinterest

And she included some great fabrics and a book by an author I've read before but not this book

Thanks kitkat_pro, I hope you have fun swapping again!!
