There is a place down the road that has a bin full of free bits of unwanted odds and ends of lumber. I picked up some and have been using it to paint on. I love the different effects that can be achieved painting on wood as opposed to painting on canvas, and I have been experimenting and having lots of fun. Here are a few of the paintings I came up with. Smiley

You are such a talented artist! I love the look of all of these. Great score on the wood - it seems to be the perfect foundation for your style of painting.

I love all three, and the texture of the wood really adds to the effect, sweet and raw at the same time maybe.  Also points for recycling Smiley

Thanks everyone! I've got a huge stack of wood primed and ready to go -- so I'll be working on these for awhile! Cheesy
