My boyfriend said he wanted an apron so I agreed to make him one. I somehow found some amazing batman fabric (he loves batman) in a bargain bin and knew I had to buy it!

These are the results:

The material and myself in the apron

My boyfriend putting it to good use!

Unfortunately the neck strap isn't long enough, i'm trying to work out a way I can lengthen it without taking the whole thing apart but it will do for now. He loves it so that's all that matters Smiley

keep that one for sure...a man who cooks (and wears an apron!) is hard to find...

Awesome apron!

I use D-rings to make the ties adjustable...I bet you could cut it, sew extra on and then let him tie it to his liking!

mmmm--what he is cooking looks good--like fried rice!

Virnsky - Thank you Smiley

alwaysinmyroom - I was thinking of D rings! Just need to get round to buying some. And yes he is definitely a keeper Smiley It was a fried rice! It's his signature dish Wink hehe.

TheBrokenButterfly - Yes, as soon as I saw it I just knew I had to get it! Unfortunately there wasn't much left Sad I do have enough to make something else though, it's just a question of what. The boyfriend expressed a wish for some pyjama shorts so that is a possibility.

Haha. I'm going to get some other sewing projects out of the way first (I have about 5 on the go right now, oops!) and then I will see what I can do with them. Smiley
