I've been drooling over Anna Bells Trolley from Irregular Choice and Damsel from Jeffrey Campbell. The problem is, of course, a lack of $$$!

I found the perfect materials at Salvation Army to combine into some awesome new footwear! The shoes were $2 and the vest was part of my $5-bag-sale bag. I used some leather from my stash because there wasn't quite enough tapestry fabric.

Using instructions provided by Glamboots, I made a paper pattern of my new boot upper.

A great deal of sewing, cursing, and double-sided tape later:

And on my feet!

So proud that these turned out exactly like I wanted Cheesy

To wear with a black pair of tights?

There's so many colours in the tapestry, I could wear pretty much any colour leggings! I changed into skinny jeans to take the foot-photo and I'm happy with how that looks Cheesy

Jeffrey Cambell shoes are so very pricey!  But the designs are very innovative...just like your shoe modification!  How fun!  Clever girl!
