I'm glad he arrived so quickly. I'm sorry I forgot to describe the bracelet. The litte boy is Manneken Pis, he's the mascot of Brussels.

Not a problem: most of them were easily recognizable (thanks to your posts and the photo album), and it was fun figuring out the few I didn't get right away -- for example, at first glance I thought the witch was for Halloween, but then quickly realized it had to be Elphaba!

He's only been gone a few hours, and I already miss having an LV.  Even when we weren't doing anything, it was neat knowing he was around.

The last three weeks have been kind of a bust, because I've still been sick, but I hope the rest of the trip made up for the lackluster ending!

Scary moment: I took his scrapbook in to class last night to show my friends (many of which have helped pose him and have been around for his adventures!) and a girl in class accidentally dumped my water cup over on my bag THAT HAD THE SCRAPBOOK IN IT.  By sheer luck neither it or my phone got wet.  PHEW!

I hope Faox has a speedy journey home!

I've been trying to get all the last minute things done - gifts wrapped, box sorted, etc. - but I don't want him to go yet! We've got an NHL game next Thursday, and the Renn Faire starts the end of the month and...and....

I will be sad to see Ihaka go.

I'm also doing last minute work to send Giles back to FL and I'm picking up some last pictures today. I'm also quite sad to see him go, especially as I've got some birthday parties coming and I'd love to take him to my new veggie garden  ...

Poppy is home!

She got to meet Po just before he left...


All the goodies she brought back with her (minus some sweets which had already been scoffed in the car before I was able to take photographs  ). I love the wire-wrapped shell pendant, it's beautiful!


Poppy also brought back a little friend with her, who I'm still yet to decide on a name for, but she's adorable.

Rupert has returned from his adventures in Hawai'i with Mountains and Clouds!

Here he is with most of the goodies that he brought back - there were so many I couldn't fit them all in the frame!

All kinds of little souvenirs - including embossed pennies and some fun Hawaiian shirt earrings


Tasty snacks including bean candies and a bag of Hawaiian coffee beans, mmmmm....


And Rupert had to show off his surfing skills on this cute little surfboard! He will have to wait until it warms up to try surfing on Greenbelt lake, though....

Sidney is on his way home. I'm sad to see him go especially because there are a few things I would have liked to do with him.

I'm excited for Sidney to get home. He's been gone since last April save a day or two between trips.
