That's awesome!!! Yep, I'm a librarian at two campuses of a community college here. Two part-time jobs that I hope to turn into one full-time at one campus by next spring. I love hearing about people going to library school!!! We need more librarians

Anuenue has arrived from Hawaii! I was away all weekend and the cat-sitter brought her in, but she was stuck in her travel case until I got home. Finally I was able to let her out:



She also brought some goodies, including some tasty coconut dessert mix, but I told her she has to help make some pumpkin pie this week before we can cook the coconut.

Po arrived today! Well, he actually arrived on Friday while I was away from home, but I was only able to go and pick him up this morning.

I didn't realise that everyone would be sending sweets/candy with their first package, so I didn't include any in mine. For some reason I had it in my head that everyone sent candy at the end of the swap when returning their visitor, so now I feel bad for my partner that I didn't include any . I will definitely be including some when I send my visitor's contract back though, to try and make it up to my partner that I didn't send any first time around!

Not sure where I'll be able to take Po to first - it's my first day at a new job tomorrow so it'll be a few days before that settles down, but after this I have lots of fun places in mind to take him

OMG! Ihaka arrived today! I wasn't expecting him yet. He brought some lovely goodies like a chocolate "M" (my first name initial), some chocolate frogs, some stroopwafels (which are SO good!! I've had them before and I love them.) He also has a neat little book about him and his family.

Can't wait to start showing him around Florida!

Ohh that's quick! 

I hope you like the treats. The chocolate letter and chocolate frogs are Sinterklaas treats.
We don't celebrate Christmas with presents, but at Sinterklaas (St. Nicolas) who arrives mid november in a steam boat with black painted helpers....it sounds crazy but it's fun and, well, Giles will be here to see this event so there'll be plenty of pictures
Can't wait for him to arrive as well!

Albert arrived yesterday!  Just in time to watch my sons last tumblebugs class and get his award!   It was a fun time!

On Thursday we are going to the Air Force Museum, my sons favorite place in the world!
