Ughh haven't had a chance to really do much with Bertrum yet cuz I've been swamped with school work. He's been to school with me and a few club meetings but that unfortunately about it. I think I'm going to take him to work with me tonight though!

That Halloween TreeofLife pendant is amazing!

After two long days at the boring post office in Springfield, I was finally able to get Deer! Tomorrow night I am going to a big Zumbathon event here, 5 instructors, 2 hours of dancing, and all proceeds ( $10/head + entry) are being donated for breast cancer research. Not sure how many pictures Ill be able to get of Deer, but she will be coming with me to shake what our mommas gave us Smiley

At some point within the next two weeks, we are going to the haunted corn maze. I went when I first moved to Eugene 3 years ago, and its something I look forward to every year. Its a 10 acre corn field cut into a crazy maze, and Fri and Sat nights in October they "haunt" it. Its pitch black outside, and you have to use clues to navigate through the maze. People chase you with (bladeless) chain saws, they have scary displays set up throughout, and people randomly hiding to scare you. I hate haunted houses, but for some reason, I totally enjoy the corn maze!

Poppy arrived in Texas last night. I have been coming down with a cold and work is crazy so nothing too exciting here is pic of poppy at dinner last night.

Good to see other LV's are arriving!

I took Giles this morning on a little sight seeing, because I had to go to the doctor and on my way there are some nice spots to see.
This is the small harbour of our town. It's mainly used for recreational boats and there are some boats that people live on.

Oh and Giles was very safely in the kid's seat  Wink
(and sorry I just realize you can see more bike than boat  Roll Eyes)


The other side of the harbour with one of the city gates in the background.


A sweet little canal. I especially like the plants in pots that the people there display in the street. It's in some way their garden.

Then, this afternoon we went to the "Sprookjeswonderland" (fairy tale theme park!) in Enkhuizen in the North of the country.

And it even looks like they have some halloween themed items!


One of our favorites: little thumbling. You could move the giant's toe and then he shouted: "I smell human flesh!"  Cheesy


And one of the steadfast tin soldiers...

We had a blast! I'm putting more pictures on Giles' FB page.

I'm so pleased that she arrived and didn't get lost in the mail! Smiley

Tomorrow is my first day off work since Po arrived - I started a new job on Tuesday morning with odd hours and long days, so haven't had much chance to do anything other than work, eat and sleep! Unfortunately I can't take him to work with me, as I work at an airport with animals that come from all over the world so don't want to risk Po taking any diseases or any other nasty stuff like that back home with him. I have a couple of things planned for tomorrow and I'm looking forward to taking Po along with me Smiley

Aussie looks well rested from his trip  Grin He is going to love hanging out with Jill as well - she can help him get acclimatised!! That's a little gumleaf on his sleeping bag just in case he gets homesick! Which I am sure he won't as he is a bit of an adventurer  Cheesy

I am getting excited as Aurora should be here real soon,
