PFD and I did some good timing, because yesterday Ihaka arrived in Florida and today when I home back from work Giles was waiting for me!

The cute little guy arrived with his passport, contract, some very nice halloween treats (that little HK tin filled with candy bones is brilliant!) and a stunning halloween tree of life pendant!

And of course I'm wearing it already! (And lucky me, I already ordered a moon stone one through her Etsy shop, so soon I'll have two of these pretty ones. My preciousssssssss  Cheesy)

Thanks you, dear miss M, for everything, I'm looking forward to show Giles around, starting tomorrow!

Yay!! I'm so happy he arrived. It's funny how the timing worked out. And glad you like the pendant! I just thought it would be nice to have a little bit of Halloween to enjoy while it's that time of year. Grin

Ok I've always liked those tree of life pendants but I am completely in love with that Halloween tree of life pendant <3 Ah I feel like I should have sent along crafted goodies now too, instead of just candy Tongue

Came home this afternoon where a package awaited on my doorstep.  Wow, I thought, that was fast all the way from Belgium!  But as I picked it up I realized I wasn't looking at the back of what natasjadreams had sent but at the front of my own package from which both the mailing label, which had been well covered and attached with clear packing tape, and the postage had apparently been torn off -- !

All that was left was the return address label (also covered and attached with packing tape), the customs form, and a little corner of the metered postage strip.

So I went inside, found my receipt, and then drove to the post office, where I had to fill out another customs form and then a refund form before Alby, still snuggly wrapped, could once again be on his way.  The woman at the counter wanted me to write natasja's address on the package rather than attach the new label I'd printed...I did both.

I feel so bad for this delay and wish I could at least account for it.  And of course now I'll be in extra worry mode wondering what else might keep Alby from reaching his destination....

Oh no, I can't believe she hasn't arrived yet Sad. She's probably stuck somewhere in the UK still, stupid Royal Mail (a.k.a. Royal Fail). If she doesn't arrive within the next few days then I'll get a replacement (Poppy II!) and send her tracked and signed for and with insurance and all the rest to make sure that she ends up in her destination!
... although knowing my luck as soon as I do this the original Poppy will turn up so you'll end up with 2 little visitors to look after!  Roll Eyes

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she turns up soon!
