Wow, you had tea with Mr. O? 

(I tried to spell "Po" by writing with my sparkler, but it was really hard to take the photos with one hand while trying not to burn myself with the sparkler I was holding in the other hand!)

On Tuesday we went to Kingston-upon-Thames, where Po saw a sculpture of telephone boxes falling over in a domino effect

I spotted his name right away, looks fun!
And the artwork looks nice! Are you sure there wasn't a blue police box between them?.....

This weekend she is going to a sort of re-enactor art & craft/rumpus room event. There will be a forge, natural dye vats, leatherworking, a pumpkin shoot, possibly a viking cruise by torchlight, and most likely the consumption of crabs.

It's still crazy around here, sorry I haven't posted more pictures of Faox - but he's still in one piece, and (hopefully) still having fun.  Last week he went with me to donate blood:

We took Giles to the botanical gardens and enjoyed the autumn colours

So pretty! We miss out on the leaves changing color down here in Florida. We just don't have the right kind of trees and we don't have the weather for it. The red from the Japanese maple is just stunning! It's so neat how uniform the color is across the whole tree like that.

Your botanical garden looks very pretty. It's funny how different into the season it looks from the one I went to which is still so tropical all year long.

Tomorrow, we're heading out to Orlando for the Festival of the Masters Art Show. It's out at Walt Disney World. They do it every year (this is the 37th annual) and it's a great time. I look forward to it all year long. After, we might head over to one of the parks for a few hours too. We'll see how Love's feeling. But it should be fun!

I love Po's little scarf. It looks like y'all are having fun. I am going to try to post some pictures of Poppy soon. This weekend my husband and I are stuffing our two shoe boxes to donate to Operation Christmas Child. It a new Christmas tradition we are doing so help out needy children all over the world. Whatever kids get our two boxes are going to be spoiled and Poppy has enjoyed coming up with ideas of what to send the kiddos. Hopefully lots of good pictures, and I will try to post what I have from last weekend.

I need to download and post some photos of Aurora's shenanigans in Australia. We went to Jacaranda festival, drank coffee and ate antipasto, went to the beach and bonded with puppies Rosie and Rocket. Pictures to follow!!

I always love those Victoria Amazonia! There are some at the aquatic gardens here, but they usually don't get that big. I need to get up to Longwood gardens sometime, maybe I can take Anuenue in January.

Anuenue went to a re-enactor crafting event this weekend!

First she got to see a big harvester, since the soybean field next to the craft area was being harvested:


Then she helped with some dye vats, this one was black walnut


And learned some important rules about metalworking at the forge


Finally, there was a short torch-lit voyage on the Viking longship

She may come with me to work on Monday, it will be boring since I have to work on the holiday (I work on a federal campus) so she can keep me company.
