Ooo I love that Dali bench!! So cool!

Last night we had fun waiting for a tsunami to hit the islands coming from Canada.

(It turned out to not be so severe after all, so we eventually went to bed!)

Today, Rupert came with me to play in a Royal Hawai`ian Band concert at a big fancy hotel on Waikiki Beach.

Saturday, we went to see the Titanic Exhibit in St. Petersburg. I've seen the exhibit before (about ten years ago) but Titanic is always weirdly fascinating and we were getting together with a couple Love knows from his work.

They wouldn't let you take ANY pics in the exhibit but there was a model of the ship in the lobby so I took one of that:

After, we walked down to the Pier and had some lunch. I took a pic from the top floor looking back out to the downtown:

As you can see, it was SO WINDY I was getting knocked around and had to hold Ihaka's hat on! It was like 30mph gusts of wind.

We also walked around the courtyard of the Dali museum (which was right next to the theater where the Titanic exhibit was showing.)

Nice photos! Ihaka should be at the front of the ship saying: "I'm flying!"  Grin

Dal's art is fun, thanks for taking him there!

As I said in my last post, nothing terribly exciting at my office job during Coccinelle's visit last week, but I think she enjoyed it---

I am VERY fortunate to have a huge window behind my desk.  Here, Coccinelle is enjoying the view:

And here she is hanging out with just some of my desk mates:

Yes...I have a LOT of toys at my desk....

Alby hasn't had much adventures the past few days because i've been buried in schoolwork and I managed to pick up the flu Sad
He has been a real sweetheart though motivating me through the mountains of work:

And guarding my endless supply for tissues:

Don't worry I've made sure he stays a safe distance and doesn't get the flu himself
I've put more pictures of our elephant hunting on fb: http://www.facebook.com/AlbysTripToBelgium
I hope that he gets to have more fun next week Cheesy

It was a busy weekend with not one, but TWO Halloween parties.  I'm too old to party that much, especially since the one on Friday was the local Capoeira school, and aimed at I think a much younger (or at least more energetic) audience.  I took a video of Faux with my phone, but I also got some video with my friend's camera and I need to get ahold of it before I decide what to post.  Cheesy  It was.... an experience.

Then a much more chill get-together on Saturday, and I was down for the weekend.  Sunday was my birthday, but we pretty much just hung out around the house. I did get a swift, though, so there will be (hilarious?) yarn-winding pictures to come!

Faux also needs to come have fun at the office with me (he has to get the photo ALL my LVs have, of course!) but it's just been too stressful and busy lately.  Still, I think he's having a decent time - NaNo starts in two days, though, he'll have to sit quietly and let me write for at least part of each day!

Oh! Happy late birthday Smeddley!
I must say I am not a bit curious about what this spot must look like to be a mandatory stop for all little visitors Smiley
