yes, the take-home essence of the tutorial is this:
--find a base that can be baked (ceramic, glass, metal, etc)
--cover with polymer clay (the large white and tan block of sculpey are cheapest)
--paint with acrylics!
--TIP: work in sections, bake between steps: underbake slightly until u are done; some sections will bake several times
