Anime/ manga theme swap! For the Otakus out there ;)

If people are busy with Christmas, Holidays, etc, we could refrain to an OTT, but since last round was an OTT, i thought we could swap a medium?

If you guys don't know, its a manga/anime/movie series of a guy who finds a more than special notebook xD
I love Death Note So how about a death note themed swap?
Anyone interested?? I'd say about end of november.
I'd love to organise. I was thinking around a medium.

And just when i thought maybe i should "try" make one, i thought, the best things are those we receive
So why not a swap?? I wouldn't be limited to that freaking awesome shirt, i would make and send AND subsequently receive a lot of death note goodies So yep, how about the swap?

Well I am a big death note fan (L stole my heart years ago) but I'm not sure how many people are fans of this one show. I've seen basic anime swaps have great success on here. So maybe going that route would work better? Either way, if I have the funds for it (things are tight with Christmas planning going on) I would like to join

I know my bf loves Death Note but I still haven't seen it. Since you opened it up to a broader anime/manga theme I'd totally join! I used to be a big otaku, so I know mostly older stuff (haven't found anything super new that I love besides a few). Don't have any objections to it being around the holidays

Does "Spirited Away" count?  I LOVE LOVE LOVE that movie, and would join in a heartbeat if somebody else out there loves it too!  Oh, also "The Last Unicorn" which is considered a mix, and "Kiki's Delivery Service".  I don't sit down and watch a series.  It's just too hard for me just to sit.  I have to be busy.

Well, considering an anime is a japanese comic, and the film is japanese...i guess it does count :S

I'd say the Miyazaki films are definitely anime. The Last Unicorn is a bit of a stretch, but I think it would work since it was animated in Japan and has a definite anime feel to it. I too would be all over anything to do with Spirited Away, Miyazaki did an amazing job with that movie!

Some people consider "The Last Unicorn" a mix of anime and run of the mill animation.  I would just die if somebody made a plush Haku for me!!!  I would love to make somebody a plush Haku.  That would be testing my plushie making skills, and I think I need that push right now.

*FAN GIRL SQUEEEEEEEEEEE*  I agree MoonlitSun. I CAN NEVER HAVE ENOUGH ANIME AROUND ME!!!! I  don't celebrate holidays at all so the timing of this swap is fine for me whenever. And I'll do any amount of points, although prefer MORE than one tiny thing, as always

And I totally agree with this swap being whenever, I can always make room for anime, though my tastes tend to be towards the stuff that they played on Toonami and Adult Swim back in the day. Le sigh.
