Hello all,

I took up sewing last year and have been making little creatures I call Beamo Monsters.  I just wanted to share my dopiness with other crafty people.

Anyhoo, this is Pomple.

It seems a little suspicious- like it has slipped something squishy in your shoes and then says "who me? I'm innocent" when you ask how that something got into your shoes.

I really love the disinterested ones on your tumblr. Especially the Monster Crab with the wristwatch and the Art Critic.

I like a monster with expressions that convey worry, confusion, being disinterested and unimpressed.  When I show these to people IRL, the first thing they tend to comment on is the expression and ask why he's sad, bored or whatever.  Yet with a happy, smiley monster, nobody ever ask why they are happy.  Weird.   Grin

He's about 6 inches tall and about 5-6 inches wide.
