I'm about 3/4 of the way through Clue 6, bascially I just need to add the borders.  What I'm disappointed in though is how much fabric I have leftover.  I went back to check the requirements to be sure I had purchased correctly and found I did.  What I can't understand is why the need for so much more Light fabric than Dark fabric when you basically use the same amount of each in the quilt.  I have almost a yard of Light left and half a yard of each of the other.

ditto--I probably won't do this pattern again...it was not really that special or interesting at all...I actually liked the beginner one better...I probably have enough fabric to do it, but will probably do something else... I just thought it would be more of a delightful surprise instead of just rectangles...at least it was for a good cause...

I bought extra fabric thinking I would do both, so I have a lot left over! Cheesy

Me too.  Now that I see them both done, I'm sorry I didn't go with the beginner.

Me three on liking the beginner one better! Bonnie Hunter is beginning a Mystery Quilt on her blog that I might follow along with.

It has a suggested color scheme but I don't care for the purple in it and am going to swap it out for something else.

This one will be available for free until June I think, then she'll take it down and publish it and sell it.

I've been e-mailing with Heather Spence, the creator of this MQ, about the amount of Light fabric we had to purchase.  Turns out she made a typo - instead of the 2 1/8 yards she had listed, it's supposed to be 1 1/2 yards.  Now I know why I have way too much.

Oh bummer. I think she has a good heart but there have been quite a few mistakes. I'm glad I bought a Kona solid for my light that I will be happy to have extra of.

Spoiler alert! Don't click if you don't want to see this finished one, but it is my favorite that has been posted in the group so far. Some of the comments make it seem like it is the beginner version? But I see other beginner ones without the thin strips? I'm still on clue 3 I think so way behind, but I love how this one turned out. I couldn't seem to find the finished "advanced" ones I thought I saw before to compare.
