I though about doing one in all blues, like winter, so maybe I will pick those and do the beginner quilt with it...I am glad I did not pick a stripe!  Did you read her post on directional fabrics?

Yeah I was just reading that. I keep looking at my floral trying to decide if it's directional but I think it's ok. Although initially I was definitely going to have one stripe!

What a great idea. Mystery quilts are fun. I've done crochet ones. The story makes me happy I live in Canada though. My son's best friend (he's 7) had a brain tumor when he was 5 that was cancer and after a year of radiation and chemo. OMG I can't imagine how high that bill would be.
