One of my biggest problems with my projects is embellishing. I just can't do it. It doesn't come natural and it likes to make a fool out of me every chance it gets. I will draw up a cute monster or twisting mermaid and then that's it.  Tongue  I want to add more dimension to my work. I have it set as one of my little goals to work on my embellishing skills. Currently they are at a "2" I would like to bring them up to a "4". LOL! I have a real issue with creativity. I have all these crazy amazing ideas in the store and I go blank and loose all my nerve once my supplies are set out in front of me.
Here is my second attempt at cards. I made these for Kwality570 for the monster swap.

Here they all are together. I drew & colored the monsters with markers.

He may not look like a monster but he is actually a baby Kraken.  Wink

I attempted stamping for the lettering because my handwriting is horrible!

This was my favorite but it is very plain.

My husband liked this one best.

Any helpful hints would be greatly appreciated! And thanks for checking them out!

Man, I swear your drawings should be stamps!  I would totally stamp those and make cute cards like you did!  I think you did an EXCELLENT job of embellishing on these cards!  The first and the second ones are my favorite!  Way to use those distress ink pads!

I have some cards that you sent me and I love them so much that I don't even want to write inside of them and send them off!  ^_^

I love them! In all honesty, I completely love them just the way they are. Your monster drawings are so great, they don't need much embellishment. So the pattern mixing and such, to me, is the exactly perfect touch.  Smiley
