Fabulous!  I have no place to put one of these, but I want one anyway, lol!

What are the insides like? Completely open or "shelves"/nesting platforms?

The insides are removable and made from thin wood . Each room is about 7 - 8" square

I would so live in one of those. They are obviously so well made and well planned.

These are simply stunning.  If the insides are removable that must make for easy cleaning. I have an orphan dove that would love to visit  Smiley

This may be a little presuming of me, but might you consider donating one of your smaller houses to a wildlife rehab center called Blue Mountain Wildlife? They deal with mostly raptors but they also care for smaller birds and other wildlife. I was an intern there this past summer. They are a nonprofit and they rely almost exclusively on donations to keep going, and not necessarily just monetary. They have donations from vets and hospitals of gauze, saline, etc. I just think that it would be really nice for them to have something NICE for a change as well. They are located in Pendleton, Oregon. They give their all to the birds, with no pay, no vacation, and no employees. They have a website here: http://www.bluemountainwildlife.org/index.cfm

Thank you for your message . A lot of the houses I build get donated to several causes including the humane society . They also are not funded by the government so they really count on personal donations . It is really sad that the government doesn,t help in any way . I will take a look at the site .

Thank you for considering donating to Blue Mountain Wildlife! I really appreciate it. They have made a big difference to the birds and also to my life because of the experience I had while interning there.
