Here are a few pictures of my most recent birdhouses .
These houses are all made from northern white cedar .

The insides are removable and made from thin wood . Each room is about 7 - 8" square

These are simply stunning.  If the insides are removable that must make for easy cleaning. I have an orphan dove that would love to visit  Smiley

Here are a few more houses that i recently did . I also included a picture of the interior . All the insides slide out for cleaning .








 


This last house is made from 120 year old relaimed barn wood.

Thanks again everyone ! Here are 2 more houses built just in time for Christmas  .These houses are 5 ft tall and come with roof top pools .

This may be a little presuming of me, but might you consider donating one of your smaller houses to a wildlife rehab center called Blue Mountain Wildlife? They deal with mostly raptors but they also care for smaller birds and other wildlife. I was an intern there this past summer. They are a nonprofit and they rely almost exclusively on donations to keep going, and not necessarily just monetary. They have donations from vets and hospitals of gauze, saline, etc. I just think that it would be really nice for them to have something NICE for a change as well. They are located in Pendleton, Oregon. They give their all to the birds, with no pay, no vacation, and no employees. They have a website here: http://www.bluemountainwildlife.org/index.cfm

Thank you for your message . A lot of the houses I build get donated to several causes including the humane society . They also are not funded by the government so they really count on personal donations . It is really sad that the government doesn,t help in any way . I will take a look at the site .

Here is my newest Extreme Birdhouse .This house is 5 ft x 50" x 36" tall and made from white cedar .
