My daughter loves a similar dress I made for her. So I made another one for my newborn niece. It was a very  easy and quick to sew. I just used two strips of fabric and
serged their edges to avoid hemming. I also skipped the ric-rac that I added to my daughter's dress, it made ironing the dress necessary after every wash. The fabric is organic
cotton from Picnic Pals and Safari Sweet collections of clothworks.

Cute dress and great autumn colours. I have great desire for a serger so I can avoid hemming too.
