This pendant was made with a 1.5 inch round wooden piece from an old Bottle Tops game. A collage image that I created was decoupaged onto the game piece and varnished for a smooth and water resistant surface. The image features a skull from a Cezanne painting, a top hat, green bowtie, steampunk elements and a bird's nest.

Decoupaging is so easy to do. If you find an image you like or create one of your own, you can attach it to almost anything. You can buy 1.5" wooden discs at the craft store if you are not lucky enough to find a game pieces you can alter.

Love how that gear looks like a monocle!

Scholars and artists...differ most importantly in the way their knowledge is come by.  Scholars get theirs with conscientious thoroughness along projected lines of logic; poets...stick to nothing deliberately, but let what will stick to them like burrs where they walk in the fields.
