My new Monster Plant.

Bellis Tendiculae, commonly known as the Trap-Daisey is a vicious predator with a voracious appetite for flesh. They are perfect for protecting sensitive documents and keeping unwanted people away from unattended desks and work-spaces.

The Trap-Daisey is both hand and machine sewn and the skull is a hand embroidered applique. The stem is made of sturdy, flexible aluminum wire and the tendrills and tongue are also wired and flexible. This specimen it 14 inches tall. The pot is also handmade felt with a foam core to maintain its shape. Its weighted with gravel to keep it from tipping.

I LOVE it!  Needs to come and live at my house, and greet people when they come in the front door.  Smiley

Really cool, it must have been a challenge to make it's stalk strong enough to keep the Trap-Daisey up.
It's tongue is awesome and I love the inside of it's mouth.

It was a bit difficult to make the stalk, I actually used some heavy duty wire I used to secure chain link fencing on one of my dog kennels. Its bendable buttough enough to hold whatever shape you put it in. I think its aluminum.
