I have received a couple amazing packages this last week, unfortunately my camera decided to go MIA....rawr!  i will describe them, and how awesome they are, and if my partners have any pics, they would be greatly apreciated!

From goddessgarb I recieved an amazing women's emergency kit.  It's made out of a red potholder with a button closure, and inside are plastic zipper bags with just about anything you could ever need to be carrying.  It's got matches, and cough drops, and tissues, and a mini sewing kit!  I love how prepared I am now!  I also recieved a pincushin for my sewing machine, which is a beautiful blossom, on a black ribbon, and it is filled with steel wool so my pins and needles will stay nice and sharp!

I love it, and was super excited about opening it!  Oh, and I got a couple extra pieces of chocolate too!

From bunny1kenobi I recieved the most amazing ATC book ever!  It is 6 pages of wintery goodness, containing 12 amazing cards, all winter themed.  When you open the book all the way it creates a star shape, and looks beautiful as decoration that way.  The cards range from simple verses and shapes to a lovely embroidered carosel horse.  I love every one!  I can't believe how lucky I am to have it, and I think I find new things I love every time I open it up!

If I find my camera soon I will post my own pics, but I would love it if either of you fine ladies have some pics to post to show the fabulousness of your crafts until then!

Well, my camera is not MIA, but it is craptastic! Nevertheless, I do have photos and here they are:

The star book itself:

(open)

(with cards in it)

The cards themselves:

I think my personal favorites were "Peace" (with the angel wings), "Star Bright", "Let it Snow", and "Snow Gent" (the glittery snowman with the tree).

I'm so glad you liked your pkg!  Here are some pics.  This is the kit with the pin cushion wrapped loosely around it:

This is the kit open, stuffed full:

With this:

and all this!

I got the idea and tutorial for it here:  http://tidymom.net/2011/survival-kit/

I just LOVED buying all this little stuff to put this together, and other than the potholder itself, now I have everything I need to make lots more of them.  Hope you get lots of use out of it!  Now I need to make one for myself, and I'm offering it as a craft kit for $5 to my local crafting group!

First up... an adorable sock snowperson and a new mini sketchbook with inspirational quote by C.S. Lewis from AuntieKar!

Now I have a new place to record my dreams and a new friend to keep me company this winter Smiley

Next...
A brand new set of Monogram notecards, each unique and made by hand from gala_apples!
I am a huge lettering/typography nerd so these will be perfect next time I need to send a note!

Thank you to both of you!
