So glad the snowflakes and the wee monster got to you all right, AuntieKar!

I received my supply package from noushi yesterday and I am sooo excited to make stuff with them. (Apologies for the blurry pics. I just got back from a trip to my grandparents, but I really wanted to post this now)

First up is this really cute case (did you make it, noushi?). I love everything about it.


Inside was a whole bunch of embroidery floss. Yay for more stitchery.


And some awesome leather, snaps, eyelets, and a setter! I cannot wait to make some cuffs from these. There are two letter-sized leather pieces there, yo.


And my absolute favorite part:

Yarn! The exact yarn I need for a WIP crochet shrug I'm making. See, I got a ball of this yarn from a previous swap and I loved it and decided to make a shrug from it. Only being a large person, I ran out of yarn and the shrug stayed unfinished for months. Some days I would pull it out and just stare at how forlorn it looked and wishing I could find some more yarn to finish it (but I never could). And now noushi has revived this project with this yarn infusion!

Thank you so much for a great supply package, noushi! You should have seen me doing a happy dance in my room when I opened my package.

Yay for supply packages!  That is so wonderful about the shrug.  An unfinished project can be so depressing!

I sent to gala today!  I'm so excited that l my packages are on their way.  I am hoping that the first two arrive soon....I always get anxious once they're in the mail!

I just received the best swap package ever. I had a serious migraine before I checked the mail, and once I got my package I seriously jumped for joy. I received a wonderful flower pincushion for my sewing machine, a little bit of candy that almost got stolen, and.... BENITO. He is the cutest thing in the entire world and I couldn't be happier to have him!

And a group shot with Benito. As you can see Goddessgarb also included some beautiful glass pins to sit in Benito's saddle bags. I've already sent pictures to my sister who is very jealous of Benito.

Oh noushi, I'm so sorry about your headache but it makes me feel so, so good that Benito could make you happy.  He is, after all, Benito the helpful burro.  When I went out to find the perfect plastic animal to try this with, I was so tickled to find him.  And yes, there were moments I wasn't sure I could let him go.  LOL...but I'm SO glad I did.  I hope you feel better.
