Her September prize was some glitter sharpies. Ooooohhh.... Now i should order some for myself.

I love love love jexxican's stamps!  I think it was one of the first things I came across when I joined craftster.  I'm always in awe.
You are so sweet!  Thank you so much.

And yup, it's almost November you guys. (well, here it is. I know some people are already there) Get your last minute claims in now! My last claim is going to be late, as is par for me, but this time I have a real reason! And I blame it on my husband for not getting off his ass and starting his Ganondorf costume sooner!A costume like that takes more than just a week to assemble, sorry but true...

I received the MOST wonderful surprise from noushi today  Grin Grin Grin

Check out this amazingness:

For those of you who haven't seen one of these before, it's an artistic pin cushion

Check out the quilted (quilted!!) tree top:

How perfect are the fabrics she chose to use??

And the incredibly detailed and perfectly formed tree trunk:

It's not JUST a pincushion tho - it also opens so that you can store little things like needles & buttons right where you need them:

My SO also thanks you for this Smiley  It will live on my bedside table & *hopefully* help me stop losing needles in the bed  Wink

I truly love this ~ Thank you again!!!

I'm glad you like it. It was based off one I saw on your Pinterest, but I knew that my favorite pincushion can hold things, so I made the base hollow. I'm also glad that it arrived in one piece, I wrapped it up a lot to try and keep it safe.

That is too cute! I am tempted to pin it... maybe after I do some cleaning up of my boards. Suddenly I'm all scared of going over 1,000 pins for some reason.

I think I could have thrown that thing at a wall and it wouldn't have broken  Wink  I'm surprised that I didn't comment on the packaging when I posted last night, actually...  It was quite comical when I was trying to open it without scissors or anything  Grin  I have learned from you!  When I sent some coffee cups recently, they broke in transit even though I *thought* I had taken care to package them carefully...  my careful packaging had nothing on yours!  Good job!   Wink

Suddenly I'm all scared of going over 1,000 pins for some reason.

Go for it!!!!  Aim for 2,000 Smiley
