Silk Garden twirly skirt!

   So - I found this lovely pattern http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/31-tiered-skirt- but wasn't sure the XL would fit my, ahem, assets. So I sized up a needle (proly didn't have to - but it hangs lovely this way) and this is what I got!
I also added rows to make it longer (I <3 me some long swingy skirts!) and crocheted a scalloped border w/handspun tussah silk to make it hang better.

Thanks!! It ended up being almost 15 balls of yarn and the third tier was over 700 stitches EACH row. I wanted to kill something by the end

And - it goes down to mid calf (and I'm around 5'9" for reference). But - super pretty!! Just finished drying it today - I'll wear it tomorrow!!

Wow wow wow. I admire your persistence. I don't think i would have been able to finish. Will you be posting any action shots? I'd love to see how it looks on.

It took only a month - and I'm a slow knitter. Since it was all stockinette stitch - I could watch tv while I knit and not have to pay attention. Which was lovely. I will be posting some shots w/it on - as soon as I get some! I am wearing it today - so maybe....
