I was planning to go to the post office to pick things up tomorrow, but then I realized it will be Black Friday- NOT going anywhere near the border until next Monday at the earliest!!

Question for my American friends: Is the post office open today?  I might be able to get over at lunch time if they are...  Otherwise I have to wait.

Nope. It's a federal holiday. Smiley
That's cool you can drop down here to mail! Way to beat international prices and times!

I'm considering where to put my box when it comes. The surest way for me to loose something is to put it in a safe place! I think my upstairs crafting stash will be a good host to Mystery Mail, though, and help me remember where it is. Craftster swap...Crafty stuff! Oh, it's going to be so hard not to open anything! I'm glad it didn't come before Thanksgiving. Pie can only distract me for so long. Grin

Turned out to be a package from mom after all, so Im still waiting on mine. Which is okay, cause thats less time I have to stare/fondle/gently shake the presents and try to guess! Haha.

I received from my partner. I made my husband open the box to see if there were wrapped presents inside, and well he cut through a card that was on the outside. I now know who my partner is, because I saw the back of the card, but I didn't open any of the presents or the inside of the card. (I made hubby tape it back together)

Thank you partner. I"m excited to see what you sent me.

I won't reveal you so others can keep guessing about their partners.

I also will neither confirm or deny that my partner is in the same group as me Cheesy

Ok so I thought since we are all recieving and waiting I would ask a question for everyone to answer.

What is the one present you are really wishing for this holiday season?

Ooh that's a good one! Unfortunately, I don't have a great answer. I'm just hoping Fiance manages to surprise me, because he's not very good at that. (He can't keep secrets from me... I guess that's a good thing, though!!!) He always gives me great gifts, but I always know what they are before I open them.

The biggest thing I'm hoping for (price-wise and size-wise) is a new desk chair because mine got really flat and I have to sit on a pillow to avoid sitting on the screws under the original cushion. Uncool. Pretty sure I'll know right away whether I got one, though, based on the size of the box under (next to!) the tree...

I have been wishing for a new engagement ring for many, many years now, but I know I'm not going to get it.  (Yes, we're married, but the ring I chose when we were married is tiny, and someone stole the matching band to it.)
