I don't know if you're allowed to (if a moderator reads this - please chime in!) but maybe put a post about this swap in other knit or crochet swaps?  For example I'm in the Hoopla vs. Yarnies swap right now...  would be a good target audience  Smiley

I absolutely love love quilts, do you think an afghan is a fair trade for a quilt? I'd love to swap!

Ooh, this looks fun.  I need a knitter that wants amigurumi and who'd be willing to make me a DNA scarf.  Any takers?

I have started to learn to knit this year too! I am not getting very far with it... So far what I am coming up with looks like hedgehog sick, I just cant seem to get the tension right - either way too loose so it slides all over (including off the needles. boo) or far too tight so I cant even force the other needle into the loop to make a stitch!! Sad

I used to have that problem and I've found the right yarn/needle combination helps! For instance, acrylic yarn always sticks on bamboo for me, while wool is great on bamboo but sticks for me on aluminum. And plastic needs, just suck.

I probably shouldn't join this swap, since my sprained wrist is still healing. I'll wait a week and see. Smiley

Life is confusing, just when you think it's over it throws you a view like this and you don't know where you are.

I really hate to say this, but I'm going to have to pass on the swap this round  Cry  I actually got a bit of a guilt trip from my family for sending so many presents to "strangers" (*scoff*) and not making things for my family lately...  My to-do list at home is getting longer, not shorter, as Christmas approaches.  Best of luck with this swap & please (please, please) run another round of it in the near future - I promise to sign up early!!  Smiley  Cheers everyone~

Not so sure about the amigurumi, but I'm up for the scarf! (we could always have a round robin on this one Smiley)
