Oh man - I had a dance workshop all weekend - we're learning a gypsy dance, and I'm using muscles I haven't used in...ever, really. I've been dancing for 14 years now (Ukrainian dance) so this is a LOT of fun. But I'm sore to my bones. Eek. Had a nice hot bath with epsom salts and some oils, and really just let my gratitude for my muscles overwhelm the pain.

Ahh. Still - getting up stairs for the next few days is going to be torture.

The base is closed and at hurricon 1.  The post office is closed and we are due to start getting the hurricane force winds this evening of around 85mph.  I did not post today due to hurricane by tomorrow afternoon though the hurricane winds are suppose to be done.  I will try to keep you all updated.  If we lose power this time around I can update on the facebook page as long as there is cell service.  Please send some good vibes my way if you can.

Looking out my window into the waterlogged world.
Lots of power outages around us and mandates lowering the driving speed.
Not sure what's to come today, but the School District closed both yesterday and today as of Sunday night.
Obviously, I haven't sent, but plan to get it out in the next few days.

We're supposed to have a lower version of the storm here, lots of wind and rain but nothing to be really scared about, at worst some tree branches will fall off and cause domage to houses. It'll just be a very quick trick-or-treating tomorrow with our little gang of under-5-year-olds in the village.

I've announced to my mom and my in-laws our incomming 3rd baby. I didn't want to do it by phone. my MIL litteraly jumped of joice! It's a nice contraste to the first time. My mom just said nothing, which is kind of good since I didn't felt like listenning anything negative. She still does not understand why someone would actually enjoy raising kids!
