Yaaaaay! Cheesy Soooo....aside from the information we filled out, how else do you "get to know" a swap partner?

I'd like to make my swap partner happy with some fibery fluff. Smiley

Well, you can send them a Private Message, and ask them no less then a million questions.  Click on thier name and have a peak at thier profile, you'll find links to thier topics, and if they are FOC you'll see favorited items.  And if they have a pinterest or wists, you can check those out too.   And I'm sure there are other more slouthy ways I'm not aware of Smiley

Has anybody spun llama? Do you have to blend it with something else, or can you use 100% llama? A friend is bringing me with her to get 4 llama fleeces and I might receive some of it.

you can spin 100% Llama.  I've not done it yet, but i plan on doing it soon.  it's lovely stuff!

Well, it snowed last night.   A lot.  I was planning on doing the last of my wool washing outside today, but I guess that's not going to happen.  In the tub it will be.  .:dollfaces:. fibre is in that pile of dirty wool Smiley

I've spun llama before.  I remember it being a bit slippery, but made a really soft yarn

I'm jealous of your snow!
Yay! the smell of dirty sheepy wool  Grin

The high yesterday was 90F so I don't think we'll be getting any snow any time soon. Tongue
I've spun 100% llama! I don't remember it being too slippery, but it was processed some how (at least washed and dyed) so I don't know how different it would be raw or how much effort it would be to clean it. It is very soft, though.
I already have the fiber I'm going to send to breabadair. It is from all those batts I spun a couple weeks ago. She said that's cool and I really think she will like what I picked out for her. Now I just need to figure out the small. That's the hard part but I have an idea that just came to me. Yay!
