With 2 kids still in diapers, we go through many many diaper boxes.  I hate to send them to the recycling bin before making something so hubby and I constructed a pretend Canada Post Mail Box for the kiddies.

Diaper boxes are so good because they are super sturdy

It started off as a fun thing

Here's what it looked like after it was covered with red poster board

We even made sure the logo was included

What goes in must go out so we never lose anything too important

So much fun!

This looks great!!!  I have some diaper boxes and a kiddo who would LOVE to play with that mail box!! I'm gonna have to see if I can do this too.  But, ya, how did you do the mail slot part??

I absolutely love love quilts, do you think an afghan is a fair trade for a quilt? I'd love to swap!

Looks really good. Another great thing for kids to do with cardboard boxes.
