Here's some stuff I made for Halloween decor. I found the wooden houses at Goodwill, they were very country-looking and spelled out NOEL.

The frames are the thrift store, gold-gilt variety that I sprayed glossy black. The plaque (picked up at a rummage sale) started plain, I sprayed it black, mod podged the image, then glued a small frame that the back had torn off of. I love that, at first, she looks like a proper Victorian Lady, but when you look closer, she's half-octopus.

I also made some smaller haunted houses, but I forgot to take pics before they headed to the shop. The backgrounds are old dictionary pages and a 60's french text book. The images are mostly from the Graphics Fairy but I used stamps and rub-ons for the smaller houses. Everything is sealed with gloss sealer so they really shine.

I love the look of those: sombre but stylish. The green frame give a pop of appropriate colour too.
