It says to name my project something memorable, what could me more memorable than me? Wink

When I saw this challenge my first thoughts were "I need some orange locks" and "Good thing I have all those blue seed beads that I never thought I would use for anything!"  I had some Suri Alpaca locks in my stash and some orange drink mix and then a bunch of white Huacaya Alpaca fleece. I used a cotton thread strung with blue beads as my base and tried to tail spin it. (I think that's what it's called. I didn't look it up, I just vaguely remember Belladune saying something about it to me a few years ago in a PM about an item she sent me in the Odd Holiday Swap before I started spinning and thought it sounded cool.) This is what I came up with:

Comparisons between me and this yarn:
Twisted
Pain in the ass
Inconsistent
Unpredictable
Fun
Soft
Stinky
Lumpy
Wild, yet tamed, but still wild!
Falling apart in places
Strong cotton core
White
Orange locks = redhead
Blue beads = my eyes
Anyone else have any they can think of?

Oh, that is beautiful! Definitely wild/refined. I love the subtle little blue beads, too.

It's bad enough wasting time, without killing it.

Thanks Miloknows!
And thank you, Belladune. Are you drunk, by chance? Or just feeling the love? Either way right back at you, baby. Wink
I sure hope we get more entries.

Thanks Sarah! I like the wild. It doesn't look like it wants to sit still, eh? It wants to be something! I'm feeling that, wanting to be something more.

You're a funny lady. Usually when I spin I don't know where the yarn will go. I still have some of my first yarns in my wall hammock waiting. Sometimes I pull them down and give them some love, but I still don't know where they will end up.
The point of spinning isn't usually what I'm going to do with the yarn, but making the yarn itself. This is more of an art yarn. It may actually find a place of honor on my art wall, just being art. Now that you bring it up, I've been wanting to try this technique I thought of for hanging yarn. Maybe I will get to use it now? But not until after Halloween.

Thank you for your comment, though.
