Stop Motion Family Video

This is our first stop motion creation and, WOW, it was so much fun! It's also our little announcement, hehe! Grin

We used my Canon 5D Mark II, a tripod and a cheapo little wireless remote to trigger the shutter. Shooting, including setup and tear down (and lots of goofing around), took us about 2 hours total. We took over 400 shots and I edited them down to 120 or so in the final slides. I edited them with Photoshop CS5 and just spliced them together in a slideshow with iPhoto.

I made the big chalk board at the end of the video from a thrifted five dollar fugly print & frame and $0.87 cheapo white spray paint. It's currently just a cardboard insert (I cheated for sake of time and the video -- shh, don't tell anyone), but I'm going to cut a thin board and affix it permanently to use as a doodle board in our house.

All in all, we're really happy with it!

Thanks! That was a random 2 am thought before I fell asleep one night. Cheesy
