Hello everyone!

For the past few months I have been designing and sewing for the non-profit organization, Lotllove. This organization is dedicated to raising awareness about the Axolotl, and I am honored to be able to sew and design for such a great cause. A few days ago the founder, Meghan was interested in a little magnet critter she could use at her work to promote the organization, so I decided I would take on the project by hand- and this was my result! I also did all the graphic work- I created tags and warning labels for the little plush as well. I didn't include them in this posting because all of the tags contain the website link on it, and I know the rules on here about links- so if you want to see the project and the Lotllove work I have been working on- feel free to visit my website which you can find on my profile! I am very happy with this outcome too- took about an hour or so to fully sew and work around. The worse part is something so small making the magnets stay in place. So I actually stitched inside where the hands are so the magnets can move outside the hands.

His top two hands contain magnets so he can stick to a lot of things! I have to say I had fun making him. I plan on making some more- I want to make one of my axolotl Vicious (my pink, frilly axolotl is very, very vicious hah). I also might be selling these in the near future as a part of the Lotllove donation shop.

If you love axolotls and want to be a part of a community dedicated to them- check out Lotllove sometime!

I'm in love!
This little guy is so perfect - and the logo and tags are a perfect match.
Your sitting mini Axolotl and all of the bigger ones on your website are awesome too Smiley

That's adorable! And thank you and your group for helping raise awareness about the humble Axolotl! <3

He is awesome, LOVE him!  I would love to see your pink version too (though love the blue as is my favourite colour) but my axolotl is a pink one...named Pinky, also a vicious and chatty wee creature, we also used to have a black one, Brain, (Pinky and The Brain) but sadly Brain has passed away, miss him and his quiet nature...a black version would be a neat one too...but adore your blue one, he is brilliant and love that he is magnetic too...fab!

Thank you everyone! I have a lot more planned in the future!

I never really thought of a black one before. I should try that out seeing I have some spare fabric. I'm sure in the future all of the axolotl colors will be made- I just have to get around to finding some of the fabrics.

I have a couple more little magnet pals I am uploading later. Figured maybe I would post a simple pattern/ tutorial too, they arn't really hard to make- but for the smaller details (like the gills on the axolotls) it can be very tedious- and the material can often fray and be rather difficult to work with on such a small scale.
